Unfinished Lines at
Pioneer Women's Hall of Fame
Continuing the Journey
Although sad to see the exhibition close at Olive Pink Botanical Gardens, we are excited that it is to be moved to the Women's Hall of Fame in Alice Springs. Here, it will be on display for visitors to view and read the stories. The overwhelming support and feedback from visitors and locals alike have prompted the extension of this exhibit.
As well, the Unfinished Lines book, full of images, stories of our elders and illustrations and write ups of the local landmarks, fauna and flora are being compiled.
2018 will see an extension to the original concept - equally inspiring and a little different!

2017 Exhibition opening
The Unfinished Lines exhibition was opened on Saturday 12 August, a beautiful sunny day, at the Olive Pink Botanical Gardens in Alice Springs. Opened by Lucy Stewart and attended by locals and visitors to Alice Springs it proved to be a very popular event.
It was wonderful to see some of our elders attend the opening with family and friends; a great opportunity to share their experience of the photo shoots and see the outcome of the twelve-month journey. Our other elders are celebrating and enjoying life as only seniors can, cycling in Europe and the Snowy mountains of NSW and trekking and camping in the Australian bush!
The gardens have many visitors, and Saturday was no exception - travellers from interstate and overseas were able to see the diversity in our community, read their stories and engage with participants.
The exhibition runs for two weeks, allowing locals and others alike to celebrate.
